Sharon is a Co-Director of the Flinders University “Open Door” initiative, bringing extensive experience in mental health research relevant to veteran wellbeing, including veteran transition and suicide. Her leadership at Open Door is informed by her background as a former Mental Health Commissioner and her current role as Executive Director of Lived Experience Australia, ensuring the voices of those with lived experience are central to the initiative’s work.
